Good Laboratory Practise

The Principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) have been developed to promote the quality and validity of test data used for determining the safety of chemicals and chemicals products. It is a managerial concept covering the organisational process and the conditions under which laboratory studies are planned, performed, monitored, recorded and reported. Its principles are required to be followed by test facilities carrying out studies to be submitted to national authorities for the purposes of assessment of chemicals and other uses relating to the protection of man and the environment.

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an intergovernmental organisation representing 29 industrialised countries in North America, Europe and the Pacific, as well as the European Commission.

PROXY Laboratories is fully licensed to perform analytical method development and validation, as well as the analysis of bioanalytical samples under a GLP-claim. This provides our customers the opportunity to perform most Research & Development in house followed by a transfer of these methods to PROXY Laboratories. This is cost-effective and guarantees that after further development and validation all analytical data on the samples can be used for regulatory filings.
